Grind by Weight Technology

Mahlkönig's grind by weight technology ensures you always get the perfect dose—ground precisely to your settings. Setting the E65S GBW apart from other grind by weight models on the market, it features an integrated high-precision load cell that weighs the ground coffee 6000 times per second during the grinding process. This is the first time a coffee grinder has offered real-time weight control.

Burr Flat Distance Detection

The innovative Burr Flat Distance Detection (DDD) function allows for the most precise and perfect adjustment of grind fineness. The E65S GBW is the first coffee grinder to feature grind adjustments based on the actual distance between the burrs. The indicator allows for a grind accuracy of 0.001mm and a range of 180 to 600 micrometers.

High-Quality Grinding Burrs

The E65S GBW's grinding burrs are made of high-quality hardened steel. Each burr set can grind approximately 700-1000 kg of beans, depending on the roast. The advanced design of the 65mm burrs ensures optimal particle size distribution, allowing the espresso to fully release its flavor and aroma.

Bean Hopper

The E65S GBW features a new, virtually indestructible, high-strength bean hopper. Thanks to its screw fastening instead of adhesive, the bean hopper will never come loose from the adapter during use, and the integrated finger protection inside the bean hopper ensures user safety. The standard hopper has a capacity of 1200 grams and is equipped with a new smart clip on the lid that can be used to hold a note or information card.

Motor Temperature Control

The E65S GBW grinder's motor is equipped with a leading temperature management system. The intelligent design allows for airflow from bottom to top, using clean air to continuously cool the motor. Additionally, an integrated fan operates automatically during the grinding process.

Grind Adjustment Technology

The extremely fine thread within the grind adjustment mechanism ensures maximum precision when it comes to achieving the right grind size for your coffee. It operates in an adjustment range between 180 and 600 micrometers, while the scale indicating 80 steps allows for extremely fine adjustment.

Easy Operation
